Stanford University professor William Damon, author of The Path to Purpose, defines purpose as “a stable and generalized intention to accomplish something that is at the same time meaningful to the self and consequential for the world beyond self.

  


So often our girls are bombarded with messages that they are not good enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough, or thin enough. It's difficult for girls at this impressionable age & current time to decipher what is a healthy message vs. what is marketing. Through our dynamic & girl centric programming, we know girls are ENOUGH & POWERFUL!

Safety Protocols

These protocols are subject to change according to changes in CDC and/or PA Department of Health recommendations/regulations. Families will be notified promptly of any changes.

SCREENINGS:

  • Pre-camp online registration health & safety forms must be completed prior to the first day of camp (campers will be unable to attend camp without a medical clearance)
  • Health monitoring of all campers and staff throughout the day
  • Face coverings will be worn by campers and staff while indoors, regardless of vaccination status, for certain settings or activities not including eating, drinking, or sports. 
  • Masks are optional outdoors. 
  • We follow CDC guidelines & PA Department of Health


DAILY ARRIVAL:

  • Daily temperature checks & Health questionnaire will be completed at drop off location 
  • Children or staff with a temperature of 101.00 will be sent home immediately
  • Children or staff that begin to show symptoms during the day (coughing, fever, shortness of breath) will be isolated and required to go home immediately
  • Parents will be required to pick up children within the hour to prevent spread and attend to their child.
  • Sick children & staff are required to stay home as a precaution until symptoms subside


CLEANING, DISINFECTION & HANDWASHING

  • All equipment and space amenities are sanitized at the beginning of the day and throughout the day
  • staff to wipe down activity areas and equipment between each use
  • touchless sanitation stations are available in each "break" area throughout location
  • Equipment and supply sharing limited
  • Access to disinfectant wipes available throughout the day

OUR 5 STAR VENUE

  • Indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the location will be used to ensure reasonable social distancing 
  • Covered and/or shaded outdoor activity areas available for instruction
  • Safe, reasonably socially distanced indoor contingency plan for rainy or heat advisory days when all campers and staff will be indoors
  • Outdoor lunch seating will be available
