Our impact is more intentional because of the Coronavirus

In this time of uncertainty and heightened anxiety, there are many sources giving information regarding the Coronavirus. We urge you to keep calm, use the guidelines set by the CDC and your various counties for further daily actions required to stay safe and healthy. Our children are watching our behavior. Therefore, we provided a link from our friends at KQED(https://www.kqed.org/mindshift/55510/parenting-during-the-coronavirus-outbreak-what-you-need-to-know-now) as a helpful resource for Parents because we set the example regarding crisis management.  We must all do our part in embracing and living these directives set by the CDC (CDC.gov) to prevent further transmission. This virus does not discriminate. As a small nonprofit, we will do our part. This includes adding free online academic engagements for middle school students and moving other engagements to an online platform. We are postponing our GEZ:Mother-Daughter Retreat until Fall and modifying GEZ:2020 Summer Experience to an online environment. Our American Sheroes:Women Veterans Only program will be a virtual environment until further notice. Visit our website frequently for additional information and links to resources for your family (https://www.commonsensemedia.org/resources-for-families-during-the-coronavirus-pandemic ). We take the health of our community very seriously.  Our engagements with you will continue in a safe and creative environment.  We pray for the immediate and sound action to mitigate the impact of the Coronavirus not only in America but globally.

Your  support  of  our  Mission is more  vital now  than ever.  Please donate what  you  can.
